Link to Video Providing Additional Information on Saint John Beer Festival

Check out this link for a video providing additional information for the Saint John Beerfest.  Breweries to participate include Propeller, Pumphouse, Picaroons, Moosehead, Molson, Sleeman, Labatts, McAuslan, Garrison and others featuring over 90 beers (the list has not been finalized as of yet).

Four restaurants will also be providing samples of food and each of the featured restaurants will be having a beer dinner the night before.  There will also be entertainment and local beer writer Craig Pinhey will be in attendance.

Tickets are on sale for $60 and available .

Garrison Ultimate Brew Off Award Ceremony to Take Place Tomorrow March 22nd

The Garrison Ultimate Brew Off Awards Ceremony will take place tomorrow, Thursday, March 22nd.  Doors will open for the ceremony at 7pm with the awards ceremony starting at 7:30pm.  Tickets are $5 for entry.

As part of the ceremony, last year’s winning beer, Adam and Eric’s Schwarz Bier, will be unveiled as well in bottles.  As per Twitter, the new beer is expected to be available at Premier Wine & Spirits by this Friday as well.

 

 

Propeller Double IPA available tomorrow

Propeller Double IPA will be available as its Spring seasonal beer starting tomorrow.  The beer will be available at the Propeller Shop and as per Twitter also at Premier Wine & Spirits with availability at NSLC locations to follow shortly.

The beer is described as “a full bodied, American style Double India Pale Ale that is brewed with premium Pacific Northwest hops and a rich blend of 2-row Pale and Crystal malts”.
