The Gahan Beer (@GahanBeer) and PEI Brewing Company (@PEIBrew) Twitter accounts have announced that their Iron Horse Brown Ale will be on ANBL shelves in New Brunswick as of tomorrow. The beer, which won the 2012 Gold Medal in the Canadian Brewing Awards Brown Ale Category, is described on the PEI Brewing Company website as:
Medium to full bodied, brown ale with a smooth roasted malt flavour and chocolate finish.
Shiretown Beer has launched it’s first seasonal beer. Runnin Down the Road Amber Ale is made from locally grown wild hops. The beer is available in limited supply at the Artisan Café in Dalhousie, N.B. (where Shiretown Beer is brewed) and can also be purchased to go in growlers.
As per their Twitter account (@propellerbeer), Propeller Brewing Company will be launching Nocturne Dark Lager late next week. $1.50 from each bottle sold will be donated to Nocturne Halifax, an art festival that will take place from 6pm to midnight in Halifax on Saturday, October 13th. The beer is described as:
a Munich Style Dunkel. A clean lager profile, hoppy goodness balanced W/ a slight roasted finish.
