Hell Bay Brewing Company‘s latest seasonal brew, Dark Cream Ale, is now available.  The revamped brew, which was available last year as well,  is described on the company’s Facebook page:

This time around more hops were added to balance the beer’s roasted malt profile. Brewed using the traditional Cream Ale style, our Dark Cream Ale has hints of chocolate and coffee with a creamy mouth feel.

The beer is available in growlers at the brewery (8299 hwy. 331 Mill Village, Nova Scotia) and on tap at Lane’s Privateer Inn in Liverpool, Nova Scotia.

La Picasse, a Baltic Porter which is the latest brew from Acadie-Broue, will be unveiled at the Laundromat (a.k.a. Marky’s) this Sunday, June 3rd at 4pm.  The beer is described by brewer Patrice Godin as having a smooth chocolaty taste.

This will be the last new beer offered by Acadie-Broue for a while as Patrice will concentrate on improving existing recipes
